Anthraquinone is mostly used in dyestuffs, but the amount of anthraquinone used as an assistant in pulping is increasing rapidly.
(1) For the production of dyes, anthraquinone is used as raw material, and a wide range of dye intermediates can be obtained through sulfonation, chlorination, nitration, etc. for the production of anthraquinone disperse dyes, acid dyes, vat dyes, reactive dyes, etc., forming a dye category with complete chromatography and good performance.
(2) Anthraquinone compounds can be used in the production of high concentration hydrogen peroxide; It is used to produce desulfurizer sodium anthraquinone disulfonate in chemical fertilizer industry. It is used as discharge agent in printing and dyeing industry.
(3) It can be used as a cooking aid for papermaking, which can reduce the amount of alkali used and shorten the cooking time.
