Gentamycin Sulfate is aminoglycoside antibiotics, has bacteriostatic and bactericidal effect on a variety of Gram-negative bacteria and gram-positive bacteria. It has better effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter aerogenes, Salmonella, Escherichia coli and Proteus and other gram-negative bacteria and Staphylococcus aureus.

For Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, bacillus, Klebsiella,deformation caused by bacteria and other sensitive bacterial sepsis, respiratory tract infection, biliary tract infection, suppurativeperitonitis, intracranial infection, urinary tract infection and bacillary dysentery.
 

 

Gentamycin sulfate, a water-soluble antibiotic of the aminoglycoside group, is derived by the growth of Micromonospora purpura,an actinomycete.
Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic composed of a mixture of related gentamycin components and fractions and is used to treat many types of bacterial infections, particularly those caused by Gram-negative organisms.
Gentamicin is also ototoxic and nephrotoxic, with this toxicity remaining a major problem in clinical use.
