Water-soluble preservative in dairy products, pickles, beverages, fruit juices, jellies, pastries, etc. (maximum use level is the same
as propyl para-hydroxybenzoate); widely used in pharmaceuticals, foodstuffs, textile industry, and in other areas such as cosmetics,
feedstuffs, and daily-use industrial products.
Uses: Broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, can inhibit Gram-negative and positive bacteria, and has a strong inhibitory effect
on yeast and moulds. Widely used in cosmetics, medicine, food and other industrial products preservation, also as feed
preservatives. It can be used alone or compounded with other nipagin esters to achieve better antiseptic effect.
