Acesulfame Potassium


Acesulfame is a kind of food additive and chemical, similar to saccharin. It is soluble in water and increases the sweetness of food. It has no nutrition, good taste and no heat. It is not metabolized and absorbed in the human body (it is an ideal sweetener for middle-aged and elderly people, obese patients and diabetes patients), and has good stability to heat and acid. It is the fourth generation of synthetic sweetener in the world. When it is mixed with other sweeteners, it can produce a strong synergistic effect, and the sweetness can be increased by 30%~50% under the general concentration.

Ansai honey has a strong sweet taste, about 130 times as sweet as sucrose, and its flavor properties are similar to saccharin. It tastes bitter at high concentration.

Acesulfame is a synthetic sweetener. Frequent consumption of foods with excessive synthetic sweeteners will cause harm to human liver and nervous system, especially to the elderly, pregnant women and children. If a large amount of food is taken in a short time, it will cause thrombocytopenia and acute massive hemorrhage.
