Product Description

Application

1. Both menthol and racemic menthol are used as perfumers in toothpastes, perfumes, beverages and sweets. In medicine, it is used as a stimulant, acting on the skin or mucous membranes, and has a cooling and itching relief effect. It can be taken internally as a wind-repellent medicine for headache and nasal, pharyngeal, laryngitis, etc. Its esters are used in fragrances and medicines. In the world, China and Brazil are the main natural peppermint production parks, and the annual output of peppermint oil reaches 2000-3000t.
